Epoxy Resins from Reactive Resins

SYNTAC liquid epoxy resins.

SYNTAC EPAFD is an industry standard low viscosity resin that contains di-functional reactive diluents and is suitable for general marine and industrial use. It produces smooth coatings free from fish eyes or dimples. When mixed with SYNAMIN 200 series hardeners it can be used alone or with a range of fillers for general bonding, coating and laminating. Suitable for resin infusion and closed mould processes when used with SYNAMIN 300 and 400 series hardeners.

  • High quality European manufactured resins
  • Formulated to produce the best combination of properties.
  • Special blends can be made for any application.

SYNTAC EPAF is a blend of bisphenol A and bisphenol F type epoxy resins. It has medium viscosity and reactivity combined with excellent heat and chemical resistance due to its high cross-link density. Excellent for use as an adhesive and for fillet bonding etc. It can be used in winter conditions when SYNTAC EPA resin would be too viscous to handle.

SYNTAC EPA is a high viscosity bisphenol A type epoxy resin. It is our lowest cost resin and it has medium reactivity and good heat, water and chemical resistance. It’s high viscosity is not a problem when used at temperatures above 15ยบC with SYNAMIN 200 series hardeners. Suitable for use as an adhesive and for general boat building applications. Not suitable for resin infusion or injection due to its high viscosity.

SYNTAC EPAFD is best purchased as part of an epoxy resin pack which includes the hardner SYNAMIN 220. It can be purchased here.

Reactive Resins Ceramic Floor Coating

Conseal LSC - Low Solvent Ceramic floor coating.

Conseal LSC is a low solvent abrasion resistant two part epoxy ceramic floor coating, for use on industrial floors and high wear areas. Conseal LSC is ideal for use within factories, warehouses and garage floors where a coating with maximum durability is required.

  • Probably the hardest wearing floor coating available
  • Easy to apply
  • Long lasting

Conseal LSC contains a large amount of microscopic ceramic micro spheres which impart tremendous abrasion resistance. It has excellent opacity and covering power, is resistant to oil, petrol, diesel, brake fluid and most chemicals.

The small amount of solvent in Conseal LSC enables the highest amount of ceramic micro spheres to be Incorporated into the product thus making it the hardest wearing floor coating.

Reactive Resins Floor Coating Primer

REACTIVE RESINS supply a comprehensive range of epoxy, urethane and acrylic-urethane floor repair and finishing materials.

Introducing the CONSEAL range.

CONSEAL P - Floor Coating Primer

CONSEAL P is a unique two-pack, low solvent epoxy primer sealer that can be applied to concrete immediately after it has been laid. CONSEAL P has a unique formulation that gives it the ability to mix with fresh wet concrete while still being resistant to diffusion of water through the uncured coating.

CONSEAL P - will penetrate and seal moisture into the concrete so that it is available to react with the cement causing it to fully cure, even outdoors in extremely hot, dry conditions.

When CONSEAL P and the cement in the concrete substrate cure, they chemically react together ensuring that the CONSEAL P is permanently bonded to the concrete. The cured surface is far harder and more durable than concrete treated with conventional coatings in the usual way. CONSEAL P also eliminates all floor preparation work and enables rapid job completion.

CONSEAL P can be applied to reinforced concrete as soon as the form-work has been removed. CONSEAL P can also be applied to old concrete that has been suitably prepared.

CONSEAL P
can be over-coated as soon as it is touch dry, usually between 6 and 12 hours, depending on the ambient temperature. Faster curing hardener is available for use in cold conditions or when rapid completion is required.

CONSEAL P can be applied to good quality concrete made to BS and ISO standards. It should not be applied to poor quality concrete that has been made with a large excess of water that will be trapped under the cured coating.

Brand New Reactive Resins Store

Reactive Resins specialize in the development and production of advanced resins and coatings for marine, flooring and industrial applications.

Reactive Resins employ the latest technology such as the use of ceramic and nano powders of zirconia, titanium and zinc oxides to produce coatings and resin systems with properties that are far superior to conventional systems.

Examples are water based acrylic-urethane coatings with exceptional properties such as excellent adhesion and resistance to abrasion, UV, oil, cehmicals, boiling water etc., and epoxy coatings that can be applied to wet substrates in cold humid condidtions without the traditional blooming, and some can even cure underwater.

Reactive Resins have just opened a new online store, Resin Store. Which now makes it even easier to purchase their amazing products.
